Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) France's Frank Peletier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Jucuitiba's Michel Agüero got a free kick in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Michel Agüero lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Maxime Durand. After having played for 13 minutes, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Peletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jucuitiba's Michel Agüero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maxime Durand. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. After 22 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Maxence Durand. France's Remy Dupuy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ronaldo Nóbrega in the 28 minute of the game. Jonathan Galvão hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When France's Frank Peletier in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jucuitiba's goalie prevented a goal. The referee ignored Jucuitiba's protests and gave Luiz Guilherme Romero a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Jucuitiba got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Romero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 41st minute of play forced Jucuitiba's goalkeeper Doriva Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jucuitiba's José Maria Vaz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Agüero to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Agüero in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, Camille Baume had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva Figueiredo. Jucuitiba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camille Baume was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 57th minute, Frank Peletier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Peletier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Doriva Figueiredo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Jucuitiba's Doriva Figueiredo got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute, Michel Agüero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jucuitiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Agüero's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jucuitiba's zone, Frank Peletier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doriva Figueiredo came out of the goal and Frank Peletier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredão Gomes during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Jucuitiba getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Alfredão Gomes hit a great ball. Luiz Guilherme Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Michel Agüero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Peletier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Doriva Figueiredo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Michel Agüero hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Doriva Figueiredo was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Frank Peletier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Peletier really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. Jucuitiba were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of France for a fine match.
