Emmanuel Canturri came out of the goal and Adria Bielsa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Luís Fabiano Sena was substituted for Norberto Prata. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Felippe Pitta replaced Jorge Frans.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Toledo was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Emmanuel Canturri got control of the ball when Omar Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Canturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Canturri made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Adria Bielsa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 95th minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Emmanuel Canturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
