In the 3rdth minute of the game Şevket Çağa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Berdoi in the 4th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, C. A. Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodoro Primo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Evaristo Rosio made a great header on C. A. Atlanta's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 13th minute C. A. Atlanta were awarded a corner. Teodoro Primo went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Primo got free with Pankracy Glogowski in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Eustaquio Jaizki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Jaizki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şevket Çağa in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Guimarães saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. Fabio Artaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Aquiles Manex got a free kick in the 41st minute. Eustaquio Jaizki struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Tony Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Primo's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Eutropio to maneuver through the defense. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şevket Çağa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Şevket Çağa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Guimarães came out of the goal and Şevket Çağa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şevket Çağa got free with Tony Guimarães in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66thth minute of the game Şevket Çağa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Teodoro Primo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Glogowski should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute Constantino Bertol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, C. A. Atlanta's Constantino Bertol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Glogowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 95th minute, Leonel Eguzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şevket Çağa in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Guimarães saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. C. A. Atlanta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
