When Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Enhebrator FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bonifacio Baumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Ruisko in the 35th minute of the match. Marquez Jimenez made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bernard Janiczek immediately put the ball in play. After the first half Estudiantes de América were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 95th minute, Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The Estudiantes de América supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Estudiantes de América would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
