Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC FUSION the free kick. In the 2nd minute, Everardo Rio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AFC FUSION's Thiago Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tony Guimarães in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Evaristo Rosio kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Aureliano Karlo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tony Guimarães. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Aureliano Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Aureliano Karlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tony Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christoff Stocks in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Guimarães saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. After 28 minutes, Aureliano Karlo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Karlo in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Guimarães saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Karlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Guimarães was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Tony Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Karlo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Germano Bettencourt got a free kick in the 41st minute. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Karlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Rio to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Aureliano Karlo in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tony Guimarães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wojciech Fiszer to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Wojciech Fiszer. Tony Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Karlo's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Tony Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Christoff Stocks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Guimarães came out of the goal and Christoff Stocks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Karlo in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tony Guimarães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aureliano Karlo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Tony Guimarães skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aureliano Karlo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Tony Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC FUSION. 91 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Karlo. Everardo Rio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Aureliano Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC FUSION's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Karlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Everardo Rio got a free kick in the 95th minute. The C. A. Atlanta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AFC FUSION were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
