A well-hit corner resulted in Ambrosio Fiz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Darrigrande in the 34th minute of play forced Enhebrator FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Enhebrator FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Hulberto. 40 minutes into the match, Enhebrator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Darrigrande came free, but Bonifacio Baumer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernard Janiczek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enhebrator FC's Carlos Calvet was substituted for Sebastian Veron.
