The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Primo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58thth minute of the game Eliseo Sasoin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Primo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolás DAndrea saved Defensores del Ángel Gris from getting behind. Everardo Rio might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolás DAndrea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Rio ran back to his position shaking his head. Tony Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Mattin in the 63rd minute. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Atlanta from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the game, Anibal Mattin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2.
