An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Fred in the 10th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Staffelbach came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Estudiantes de América were awarded a corner. Maximo Dei went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Julien Staffelbach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Ranolfo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Christoff Stocks who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Marcos Ranolfo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. AFC FUSION's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romulo Abilio in the 34th minute. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Beckham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Marcos Ranolfo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Christoff Stocks made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Eztebe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kraig Fred's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estudiantes de América's Orlando Beltza was substituted for Flavio Iraunkor. Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță was substituted for Cornelio Ruisko. In the 61st minute, Thiago Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe got control of the ball when Concetto Trasatti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Diaz. In the 66th minute, AFC FUSION's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Concetto Trasatti fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marcos Ranolfo came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC FUSION's Julien Staffelbach. But to his dismay, Julien Staffelbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 71 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Concetto Trasatti. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Abilio in the 73rd minute of the match. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Van Der Veecken came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Thiago Silva got a free kick in the 78th minute. AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo was substituted for Julien Staffelbach. In the 80th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Silva to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Dei shot a long shot in the 80th minute and a light blocked Roberto Eztebe hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Beltza in the 83rd minute of play. Concetto Trasatti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Traian Blăniță got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Concetto Trasatti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. Roberto Eztebe was a little too slow when Concetto Trasatti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-2. Concetto Trasatti scored 1-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Eztebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Estudiantes de América eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
