Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. 5 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of James Beadle. GD Almargense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but James Beadle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 12th minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper James Beadle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, GD Almargense's Jorge Macedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GD Almargense's goalkeeper James Beadle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Noronha struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GD Almargense. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Pepi got free with Fodor Daniel in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 33 in the game by Ricardo Pepi from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. Hungary's players were relieved. GD Almargense's James Beadle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by GD Almargense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Takacs Tibor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hegedus Henrik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. James Beadle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Major Barna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. James Beadle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Beadle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GD Almargense's Ricardo Cabral was substituted for Jorge Macedo. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Major Barna made a precise shot to the right of James Beadle. GD Almargense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Pepi in the 92nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. GD Almargense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hungary played a much better game than GD Almargense and deserved their victory. The GD Almargense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
