Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Freddy Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Amorim didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Timmy Zander made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Xande Gay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Augusto Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Portugal's Felipe Barreto tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 24th minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Xande Gay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xande Gay. Sport Club Mavericks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Xande Gay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xande Gay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Rodolfo Miranda in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sport Club Mavericks's José Augusto Vasconcelos. Zézinho Lopez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zézinho Lopez to make the kick off. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Cordarrell in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Timmy Zander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Mavericks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugal the free kick. Timmy Zander hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great ball. Sport Club Mavericks's Claudemiro Fragoso was substituted for Freddy Cordarrell. In the 63rd minute, Claudemiro Fragoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Club Mavericks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudemiro Fragoso in the 66th minute of play. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Graciano Coutinho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Timmy Zander, made in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xande Gay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudemiro Fragoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Xande Gay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 85th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Xande Gay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Xande Gay made a huge save. In the 93rd minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Daniel Pimentel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Bartolomeu Dias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sport Club Mavericks's Xande Gay did a great save. Sport Club Mavericks's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
