Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) César Moreira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A sloppy throw-in by Lúcio Capixaba in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Lars Steen. César Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 17th minute of play forced Moreto F.C. - Capivari's goalkeeper Giuseppe Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agnaldo Marinho got free with Keld Paulsen in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kenn Skou hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute César Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's César Moreira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Moreto F.C. - Capivari booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bendtsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agnaldo Marinho. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Moreira in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Douglas Eger got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giuseppe Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agnaldo Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keld Paulsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agnaldo Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. If César Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute of the game Lúcio Capixaba made a throw-in which Cornelio Daunte played forward. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Agnaldo Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Agnaldo Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moreto F.C. - Capivari made a substitution. Paulo Moura replaced Douglas Eger. Kenn Skou kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Giuseppe Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Moreto F.C. - Capivari from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute César Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If César Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovani Barreto hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Barreto during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Moreto F.C. - Capivari got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Barreto. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Moreto F.C. - Capivari fans cheered their team off the field, for while Denmark had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
