Vladislav Viktorov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loid Forger succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 25th playminute. The wind increased when Toni Mauzer made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Albino Eladio made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, Loid Forger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Sherman Lilly ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. If Sherman Lilly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelino Etxekopar took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Kaan Noga kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loid Forger, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Etxekopar came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Domazet. In the 91st minute, Lino Birjaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loid Forger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladislav Viktorov in the 95th minute of play. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Etxekopar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
