The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Groeneveldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimond Aumann was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After some careless play in the The Last Airbender defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimond Aumann. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferman Sıraç got free with Arnout Reekers in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the game, Ferman Sıraç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Last Airbender's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Ferman Sıraç hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.
