Joaquin Lucero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the match, C.A.MALVINAS.ARG's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Joaquin Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of C.A.MALVINAS.ARG booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Generoso Matai from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Arnout Reekers's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute of play forced C.A.MALVINAS.ARG's goalkeeper Joaquin Lucero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Joaquin Lucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Lucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Lucero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 played minutes C.A.MALVINAS.ARG got a freekick which was hit by Iker Vedillo. In the 28th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Lucero having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsenio Maria. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Arsenio Maria sent off a good shot on target. C.A.MALVINAS.ARG's Joaquin Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, C.A.MALVINAS.ARG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Jaunzuria to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The C.A.MALVINAS.ARG players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Arsenio Maria made the kick off in the second half. David Eikelkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. With 65 minutes on the clock, Gust Ennemans commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 65th minute, one of Netherlands:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Netherlands. In the 70th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Lucero made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Adan Galo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.MALVINAS.ARG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Galo in the 84th minute of the match. With a little luck, C.A.MALVINAS.ARG's Joaquin Lucero got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adan Galo scored 5-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, C.A.MALVINAS.ARG could leave the field as winners, despite Netherlands having more of the ball for most of the match.
