Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mano Loco in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Trenton Long got a free kick in the 8th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mano Loco in the 15th minute of play. Eddie Zamora received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Eddie Zamora slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Frankie Gunn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 20th minute of the match. Brooklyn SC's Eddie Zamora got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mano Loco's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Frankie Gunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Eddie Zamora sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trenton Long in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. In the 46thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brooklyn SC's Frankie Gunn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 51 minutes of play, Brooklyn SC's Trenton Long made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61stth minute of the game Eddie Zamora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Zamora came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chris Mergenthaler's late challenge caught a Brooklyn SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Mergenthaler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Eddie Zamora sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mano Loco in the 69th minute of play. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddie Zamora went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 73rd match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ace Owens to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 76 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 85 minutes into the game, Brooklyn SC's Mano Loco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mano Loco in the 93rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
