Patryk Bykowski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 3rd minute of play forced FC SZAFIRY's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Czerny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. At last the ball reached Linus Schwerner at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of FC SZAFIRY. 0-1. In the 4thth minute of the game Linus Schwerner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC SZAFIRY's Wawrzyniec Czerny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Bykowski in the 9th minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Willy Stieler kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Dantae in the 13th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Niewiadomski, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Patryk Bykowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 1-1. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylwester Siekierka, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Wawrzyniec Czerny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Albin Holweck notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC SZAFIRY's Wawrzyniec Czerny. Wawrzyniec Czerny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the match, Wit Tarka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wit Tarka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 44 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SZAFIRY the free kick. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 44th minute. Klement Ledochowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. When FC SZAFIRY's Klement Ledochowski in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Emanuel Dantae blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klement Ledochowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the game, FC SZAFIRY's Klement Ledochowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Bykowski in the 60th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klement Ledochowski in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Tarka in the 70th minute of the match. FC SZAFIRY made a substitution. Zbyszek Gotfryd replaced Jacek Bartelak. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC SZAFIRY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Frank Sachs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wawrzyniec Czerny quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Wawrzyniec Czerny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Krakouer during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball. Bartlomiej Rasimowicz missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 85 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Tommy Kahn right hand side. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC SZAFIRY's Henrik Tidén. But to his dismay, Henrik Tidén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Tarka in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the FC SZAFIRY defense, Frank Sachs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wawrzyniec Czerny. The FC SZAFIRY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wawrzyniec Czerny should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that FC SZAFIRY were the better team. FC SZAFIRY's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
