In the 5th match minute, Scotland Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Botelho to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Germany booed when Scotland Titans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiquinho Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, Scotland Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Coelho to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Scotland Titans's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Ruy Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Motta in the 12th minute of the match. Jairo Alcântara came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. Doni Abreu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Scotland Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. If Jairo Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Augusto Motta notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Alcântara. The long shot by Dida Azevedo in the 31st minute really tested Tommy Kahn's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 36th minute of the match Scotland Titans got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dida Azevedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chris Mergenthaler thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tommy Kahn, a very annoying self made goal in the 37th minute which led to 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Ruy Zonta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Doni Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Renato Hoffmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scotland Titans and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Germany's Rolf Rothberg was substituted for Frank Sachs. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Scotland Titans! After having played for 69 minutes, Rolf Rothberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolf Rothberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolf Rothberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruy Zonta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Coelho came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dida Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Scotland Titans's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Léo Magalhães to score against Tommy Kahn in Germany's goal. 4-0 after 93 minutes. Ruy Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Rothberg in the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Scotland Titans.
