Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baldomero Ilazki started the match with the kick off. Nicasio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Baldomero Ilazki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Casper Claes, 1-0. Celestino Mannie struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥. After 24 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicasio Abad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Devos to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Mannie came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Mannie got free with Casper Claes in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Mannie in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Bonte to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Ilazki in the 60th minute of play. Guillaume Bonte hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Baldomero Ilazki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Dervaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Baldomero Ilazki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Samuel Nava kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Devos.
