Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marin Giubelean. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Barna in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigel Tilea saved Academia Rio from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigel Tilea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Marin Giubelean dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel, 1-1. Dumitru Pantelimon kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 32nd minute of play. Gigel Tilea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Major Barna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigel Tilea was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Hungary's Major Barna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marin Giubelean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bakos Endre made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Antal Valentin.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marin Giubelean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marin Giubelean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigel Tilea made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. After 57 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Doru Dobrinescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Gigel Tilea in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gigel Tilea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 68th minute. A collision led to Academia Rio getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dumitru Pantelimon hit a great ball. The supporters of Hungary booed when Academia Rio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Pantelimon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dumitru Pantelimon kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihai Oniga kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Major Barna lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Gigel Tilea. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dumitru Pantelimon was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia Rio's players had a chance to rest. Gigel Tilea made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
