Cheng Guo Rong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yves Dervaux's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. With an all-out effort, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Casper Claes threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mikolaj Beninda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 18th minute of play forced Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's goalkeeper Cheng Guo Rong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Cheng Guo Rong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Mikolaj Beninda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikolaj Beninda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Cheng Guo Rong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheng Guo Rong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nigel Devos in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheng Guo Rong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's goalkeeper Cheng Guo Rong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Wei Wei hit a great ball. Cheng Guo Rong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Dervaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Belgium's corner Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cheng Guo Rong quite easily take care of the ball. After 47 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Clocheret. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When 姜鹰国 came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 姜鹰国 couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute, Lv Yan Xiang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 60th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ made a substitution. Estebano Añel replaced Lv Yan Xiang. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Ximun Amilburu was substituted for Davinson Sánchez. In the 62nd minute, Laurens Vandamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Beninda came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boruc Siembab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Mikolaj Beninda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cheng Guo Rong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Clocheret, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Beninda in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Belgium booed when Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wei Wei didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87th play minutes Mikolaj Beninda shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Casper Claes and just under the crossbar into goal. Belgium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
