Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Justino Gotzon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Vittori came out and tried to block the shot, but Justino Gotzon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 2nd minute. The corner was taken by Herbert Walmarsson in the 7th minute. With an all-out effort, FC Pepe Burrón's Flavio Vittori threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Herbert Walmarsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Orlando Rivera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Rivera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Siricio Liotta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Rivera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Siricio Liotta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Orlando Rivera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Justino Gotzon sent off a good shot on target. Erez Gordo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Sigfrido Auletta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justino Gotzon was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Pepe Burrón's goalkeeper Orlando Rivera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Justino Gotzon came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FC Pepe Burrón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Gotzon couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Rivera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pepe Burrón's zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Rivera came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 minutes of play, FC Pepe Burrón's Justino Gotzon made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Pepe Burrón's Tiémoué Bakayoko was substituted for Ivon Curiel. FC Pepe Burrón's Maurito Boselli was substituted for Herbert Walmarsson. In the 72nd minute, Siricio Liotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sigfrido Auletta came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigfrido Auletta couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Fidele kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Zaccheo Andolina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurito Boselli in the 82nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Zaccheo Andolina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Orlando Rivera. That made the score 2-3 after 88 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Adriano Curto took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Orlando Rivera to make any attempt to save it. The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
