Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zézinho Trigo started the match with the kick off. Leonhard Maier's late challenge caught a EC Fragata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonhard Maier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Silvinho da Silva sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Austria's Fabio Auer didn't even have to move. Dé Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dé Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to EC Fragata getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dé Prado hit a great ball. Fabio Schneider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dé Prado hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Christian Wallner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of EC Fragata booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Schneider didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fabio Schneider came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Schneider couldn't finish the play. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zézinho Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Alcântara came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Auer made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Pedrinho Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. EC Fragata's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvinho da Silva in the 46th minute. Austria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Edu Paiva scored to the left of an out of position Fabio Auer, making the score, 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Galishoff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to EC Fragata getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dé Prado hit a great ball. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Jonas Nalder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EC Fragata the free kick. Pedrinho Alcântara scored 3-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Auer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Paiva in the 74th minute of the match. Fabio Schneider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomé Mendes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Austria's Sandro Galishoff broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 92nd minute Zézinho Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Fabio Schneider was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EC Fragata the free kick. After 93 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Schneider. There was no doubt that EC Fragata were the better team. EC Fragata's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
