Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Lorenzo Hagenbuch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Lorenzo Hagenbuch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Lorenzo Hagenbuch sent off a good shot on target. FC Thierachern's Stefan Lyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Amado Makaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Thierachern's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Makaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Lorenzo Hagenbuch's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Amado Makaus sent off a good shot on target. Pavel Ghițescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Hagenbuch. In the 46th minute, Pavel Ghițescu made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

FC Thierachern made a substitution. Pablo-Ranieri De la Barra replaced Gabriel Peter. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yannick Herzog during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Yannick Herzog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, FC Thierachern's Lorenzo Hagenbuch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. FC Thierachern's Marc Berthod was substituted for Pancho Jeanneret. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Ghițescu in the 68th minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Makaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Makaus in the 70th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Pavel Ghițescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Lorenzo Hagenbuch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Hagenbuch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 95th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 96th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
