The audience thought a goal was coming when Eskil Lindblom got free with Casper Claes in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Falck having to interfere. In the 15th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. FS Elite's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edward Vanderstraeten almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FS Elite's Tommy Falck did a great save. Tommy Falck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sander Dermaut went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Falck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marcelo Chepe fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FS Elite's protests and gave Marcelo Chepe a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FS Elite's Marcelo Chepe got a free kick in the 24th minute. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Albom in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Falck. FS Elite's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Eskil Lindblom tried to sneak it across the goal line. FS Elite's Tommy Falck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, one of Belgium:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 37 minutes into the match, Christian Wiklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Wiklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 41 minutes FS Elite's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. 43 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FS Elite's Tommy Falck. Tommy Falck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Edward Vanderstraeten hit a great ball. The FS Elite players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgium were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eskil Lindblom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Wiktor Askelöf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, FS Elite's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Tommy Falck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Falck. Tommy Falck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. FS Elite's Ovadia Kraft was substituted for Christian Wiklund. If Eskil Lindblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Tommy Falck in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FS Elite's Tommy Falck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 73rd minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tommy Falck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Åkerström in the 83rd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. In the 86th play minute Edward Vanderstraeten came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Falck. 1-5. Du Lin scored 2-5 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edward Vanderstraetens short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Tommy Falck to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Belgium's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
