Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amador Patxi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amador Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tor Echegoyen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes Chute de Ouro FC got a freekick which was hit by Benê Breckenfeld. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tor Echegoyen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chute de Ouro FC's Eric Simion got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tor Echegoyen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th match minute, Chute de Ouro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Patxi to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes Chute de Ouro FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Tor Echegoyen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Patxi in the 34th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Egbert Nijveldt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tor Echegoyen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Miguel do Vale hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
After 51 played minutes Chute de Ouro FC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Patxi. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tor Echegoyen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tor Echegoyen. Gustaaf Groeneveldt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantin Pãduret hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Tor Echegoyen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tor Echegoyen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tor Echegoyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tor Echegoyen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chute de Ouro FC made a substitution. Ivo Simões replaced Amador Patxi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Simões in the 74th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Chute de Ouro FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Ivo Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tor Echegoyen. Wim Wilmes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tor Echegoyen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Tor Echegoyen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tor Echegoyen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 95th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen managed to reach the ball for a save.
