Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Delmar Luix kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, São Miguel do Oeste.SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Txordon to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 4 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Delmar Luix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. The supporters of São Miguel do Oeste.SC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germany's Albin Holweck got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Delmar Luix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Delmar Luix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Natanael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 35th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Lago in the 37th minute of play. Delmar Luix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 42nd minute São Miguel do Oeste.SC were awarded a corner. Teodosio Txordon went to the cornerflag to take it. Delmar Luix was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Germany got a corner. São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Germany's Linus Schwerner to fire away a dangerous shot which Damian Natanael despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 56th minute, Delmar Luix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Damian Natanael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save São Miguel do Oeste.SC from getting a goal against them. Delmar Luix took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 63 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Luix came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Luix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Delmar Luix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Damian Natanael got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute Delmar Luix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
