An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Sikola in the 16th minute of play forced Pilar FC's goalkeeper Tomi Neila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, STORMTROOPERS ON GRASS's goalkeeper Jiang Zhen Qiang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Hendrickx. Tomi Neila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Sikola in the 20th minute of play. In the 27th minute Felix Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Zhen Qiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, STORMTROOPERS ON GRASS's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Hendrickx came free, but Jiang Zhen Qiang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 50th minute the ball was on its way in behind STORMTROOPERS ON GRASS's goalkeeper Jiang Zhen Qiang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 52 minutes STORMTROOPERS ON GRASS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tadeusz Merski who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Candido Hendrickx put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jiang Zhen Qiang. Pilar FC's Luca Langoni was substituted for Martin Benítez. Tomi Neila made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Milosz Gendolla sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Guus Koole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Zhen Qiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. STORMTROOPERS ON GRASS's Roberto Matosas was substituted for Oxel Villarino. Teobald Mruk hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
