Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the FALCÕES VERDES defense, Fabio Schneider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Gerber. The FALCÕES VERDES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Gerber should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Fonseca during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Austria booed when FALCÕES VERDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Galishoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonhard Maier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Emil Seidler. Leonhard Maier's late challenge caught a FALCÕES VERDES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonhard Maier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonhard Maier to maneuver through the defense. When Fabio Schneider came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Schneider couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Leonhard Maier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Fabio Schneider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Schneider in the 30th minute of play. In the 37th minute Leonhard Maier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Galishoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Daniel Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Schneider in the 40th minute of play. Daniel Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leonhard Maier came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Galishoff was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabio Schneider kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Gerber. That made the score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. With a little luck, FALCÕES VERDES's Daniel Gerber got control of the ball when Marvin Harrer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marvin Harrer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. FALCÕES VERDES were furious when Clóvis Marinho was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 62 minutes into the game, one of FALCÕES VERDES:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Austria's Sandro Galishoff got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Daniel Gerber. Benjamin Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Austria's Fabio Schneider in 89 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Daniel Gerber guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Fabio Schneider put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Gerber. In the 98th minute Fabio Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FALCÕES VERDES fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Austria were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
