With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willem-Jan Hollanders prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Willem-Jan Hollanders. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Les Bistouquettes Bleues getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Robbie Valckenaers hit a great ball. Willem-Jan Hollanders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Les Bistouquettes Bleues booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willem-Jan Hollanders having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Thananiti Cheewawipat sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Willem-Jan Hollanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Vranken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willem-Jan Hollanders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Willem-Jan Hollanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Willem-Jan Hollanders in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thananiti Cheewawipat, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Wim Wilmes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willem-Jan Hollanders. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 67th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Willem-Jan Hollanders proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Les Bistouquettes Bleues from getting a goal against them. Tim Vranken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Wim Wilmes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Willem-Jan Hollanders. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 91st minute Les Bistouquettes Bleues were awarded a corner. Jeremey De Messemaecker went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jeremey De Messemaecker got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
