Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dale Dolar, made in the 4th minute of the game. 7 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jason Statham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Italy's attentive Eliseo Cutri managed to snatch the ball when Dale Dolar made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. When Sigfrido Auletta came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigfrido Auletta couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Italy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Flavio Vittori had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Ronald Wu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 张学友 Wu in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 张学友 Wu took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. In the 90th minute of the match, Adriano Curto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jason Statham saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 94th minute, 张学友 Wu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 98th minute, 张学友 Wu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Italy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
