Nilton Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Keane, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When João Keane came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the GOMEZ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Keane couldn't finish the play. Nilton Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Lloret, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Paolo Arripe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Rosado's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, João Keane took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Nilton Marinho to make any attempt to save it. Patricio Lloret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nilton Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiago Gabriel Mendes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Patricio Lloret got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paolo Arripe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Tiago Gabriel Mendes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paolo Arripe. The goal made the score 4-1. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, João Keane put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nilton Marinho. Real Brasil F.C. were furious when William de Alcântara was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Real Brasil F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GOMEZ F.C.:s goal. In the 74th minute, George Somellera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GOMEZ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After a rather tough play, Real Brasil F.C.'s Fellipe do Nascimento got a free kick in the 77th minute. Valery Monedero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nilton Marinho. Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Abel Rosado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GOMEZ F.C.'s Paolo Arripe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute Patricio Lloret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Nilton Marinho came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by GOMEZ F.C.'s João Keane. But to his dismay, João Keane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. GOMEZ F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
