The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nilton Marinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Nilton Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pitin Sánchez in the 20th minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Brasil F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert Macaneață was slow to take the kick. During this time F.Salgado F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Robert Macaneață got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nilton Marinho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 65th minute, Pitin Sánchez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilton Marinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 69th minute of the match, Robert Macaneață tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nilton Marinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 0-8 became the score in the 72nd minute when Teodoro Moreno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Teodoro Morenos short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Nilton Marinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute, F.Salgado F.C.'s Teodoro Moreno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Luís Guilherme Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Teodoro Moreno 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-12. The Real Brasil F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.Salgado F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
