In the 2nd minute, Luiz Guilherme de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinho Rossi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian De la Rosa went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 7th match minute, São Wilson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Moreno to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, João Keane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GOMEZ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Erivaldo do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Paolo Arripe made a huge save. Valery Monedero hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Emílio Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Wilson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Aparecido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Vermudo Rallo put in a rough tackle. The referee gave São Wilson a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emílio Aparecido, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GOMEZ F.C.'s Paolo Arripe. 1-2. After a rather tough play, São Wilson's Júlio Prado got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian De la Rosa in the 25th minute of play forced São Wilson's goalkeeper Claudinho Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aírton de Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Arripe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aírton de Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. Almir do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Paolo Arripe made a huge save. Emílio Aparecido's late challenge caught a GOMEZ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emílio Aparecido helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to São Wilson getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Emílio Aparecido hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes São Wilson got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Prado. 36 minutes into the match, GOMEZ F.C.'s Valery Monedero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinho Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastian De la Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Claudinho Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Patricio Lloret managed to get in a good position for a shot. GOMEZ F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Lloret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in São Wilson's zone, Sebastian De la Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Rossi came out of the goal and Sebastian De la Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The wind increased when Anselmo Moreno made the kick off in the second half. When Sebastian De la Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the GOMEZ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian De la Rosa couldn't finish the play. Almir do Valle hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, GOMEZ F.C.'s Claudinho Rossi threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian De la Rosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patricio Lloret kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Almir do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Prado hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. George Somellera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Claudinho Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in São Wilson's zone, Sebastian De la Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Rossi came out of the goal and Sebastian De la Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 minutes of play, GOMEZ F.C.'s Sebastian De la Rosa made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinho Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinho Rossi was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Sebastian De la Rosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian De la Rosa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian De la Rosa got free with Claudinho Rossi in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in São Wilson's zone, Patricio Lloret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Rossi came out of the goal and Patricio Lloret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Patricio Lloret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Júlio Prado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Arripe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Sebastian De la Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Wilson's Claudinho Rossi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian De la Rosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudinho Rossi came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian De la Rosa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 92nd minute. The GOMEZ F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
