In the 2nd match minute, Ekedalen SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Heggert to maneuver through the defense. Cyryl Prosowski's late challenge caught a Ekedalen SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cyryl Prosowski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Cyryl Prosowski got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Robert Kalfhage shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Józef Wandzik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Hagberg in the 9th minute of play. Józef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Hagberg in the 12th minute of the match. 12 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ekedalen SK's Sten Hagberg fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Jan Pietras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Per Bröms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Ekedalen SK's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Pietras came free, but Per Bröms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Józef Wandzik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sten Hagberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. The supporters of Cosmos 1984 NewDance booed when Ekedalen SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Kalfhage didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Hagberg came free, but Józef Wandzik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Jan Pietras put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Per Bröms. 37 minutes into the match, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Bark. In the 42nd minute, Ingvar Bark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Pietras in the 43rd minute of play forced Ekedalen SK's goalkeeper Per Bröms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Rönn took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Józef Wandzik. Józef Wandzik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Pietras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Remigiusz Barys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Bröms having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Robert Kalfhage was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekedalen SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cosmos 1984 NewDance the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ekedalen SK's Robert Kalfhage got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Milosz Skaradowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Ekedalen SK's Stig Rönn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Józef Wandzik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 62 minutes into the game, Stig Rönn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Józef Wandzik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iwan Zahemski charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iwan Zahemski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Iwan Zahemski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cosmos 1984 NewDance getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jan Pietras hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Sten Hagberg notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Józef Wandzik. Józef Wandzik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Ekedalen SK booed when Cosmos 1984 NewDance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliks Fedosz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Józef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Rönn in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Sten Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Wandzik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Józef Wandzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Bark, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Stig Rönn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Józef Wandzik. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig Rönn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. After a rather tough play, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Remigiusz Barys got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Stig Rönn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Józef Wandzik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Hagberg came free, but Józef Wandzik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sten Hagberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Józef Wandzik having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Stig Rönn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekedalen SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Rönn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per Bröms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigiusz Barys in the 95th minute of play. Ekedalen SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
