The crowd rose to their feet as Real Brasil F.C.'s Simão da Silveira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Per Bröms. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. When Denílson Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Brasil F.C.'s protests and gave Denílson Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. Arí Cardoso charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arí Cardoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arí Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Robert Kalfhage shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lenílson Vianna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekedalen SK's goalkeeper Per Bröms, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Ekedalen SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Bark to maneuver through the defense. Lenílson Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Rönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Real Brasil F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Bark came free, but Lenílson Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Wilton Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Real Brasil F.C. booed when Ekedalen SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Bark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Bröms made an important save on a dangerous shot by Umberto Alves in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Wilton Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Brasil F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ekedalen SK the free kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simão da Silveira to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Stig Rönn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Per Bröms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute Sten Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Bark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lenílson Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig Rönn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lenílson Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Hagberg in the 71st minute of the match. Simão da Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per Bröms read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Per Bröms stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão da Silveira's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When Sten Hagberg came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ekedalen SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Hagberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão da Silveira in the 94th minute of play forced Ekedalen SK's goalkeeper Per Bröms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per Bröms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Ekedalen SK's Per Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Alves in the 96th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Real Brasil F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Ekedalen SK for much of the match.
