André Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Cambotinha EC's Arlindo Abreu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Eduardo Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Percy Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cido Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Eduardo Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Arlindo Abreu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Eduardo Valle. Arlindo Abreu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. André Reis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Inter Gala's Hélder Mendes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Cambotinha EC's Arlindo Abreu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 37 minutes Inter Gala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anderson de Toledo who took care of the corner kick. Luís Eduardo Valle made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Cido Martins sent off a good shot on target. Luís Eduardo Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flávio Veloso in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Hélder Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Gala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flávio Veloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Percy Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Reis having to interfere. André Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Mendes in the 54th minute of play. Inácio Pereira hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. José Augusto Medeiros hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. André Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Baptista in the 63rd minute of the match. Cambotinha EC's André Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Cambotinha EC from getting a goal against them. Luís Eduardo Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Donatello in the 67th minute of the match. Hélder Mendes shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a little luck, Cambotinha EC's André Reis got control of the ball when Hélder Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cambotinha EC's Arlindo Abreu got a free kick in the 85th minute. André Reis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Percy Baptista showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-5 in the 86 minute of play. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 4-6 when Percy Baptista sped through Cambotinha EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of André Reis.
