In the 8th minute Lajos Keresztesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klement Pawlak got free with Mátyás Lisztes in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Lajos Keresztesi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, Westbam's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Almási came free, but Tony Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Skaradowski in the 20th minute of play. Teofil Skaradowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mátyás Lisztes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes, Emánuel Kővári mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szolnoki MÁV and the Westbam players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Lázár Zsinka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szolnoki MÁV's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázár Zsinka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Almási to make the kick off. Máté Kocsis charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mátyás Lisztes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Pawlak in the 92nd minute of the match. Tony Arruda was a little too slow when Patrik Almási got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Szolnoki MÁV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Westbam.
