When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Baltazar Carvalho put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vihren Dandov. In the 30th minute, Gergin Tilev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cláudio Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitar Mutashki's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Evstati Ruskov could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Cláudio Taffarel however easily saved by the left post. After 33 played minutes FC White Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Gergin Tilev. FC White Wolves's Vihren Dandov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Carvalho in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Carvalho in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vihren Dandov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute of the match, Dimitar Mutashki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cláudio Taffarel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitar Mutashki in the 42nd minute of play forced Bucéfalo FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Carvalho in the 45th minute of play forced FC White Wolves's goalkeeper Vihren Dandov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bucéfalo FC's Alessandro Carioca got a free kick in the 47th minute. Evstati Ruskov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Cláudio Taffarel made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltazar Carvalho to make the kick off. Baltazar Carvalho made a great header on Bucéfalo FC's corner, it was just that FC White Wolves's Vihren Dandov managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radostin Selanovski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC White Wolves getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Radostin Selanovski hit a great ball. Vihren Dandov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tico Mole in the 74th minute of play. Clemente Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vihren Dandov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Clemente Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. André Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vihren Dandov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Bucéfalo FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Baltazar Carvalho hit a great ball. Bucéfalo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
