The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. MC ESPANHOL's Teófilo Belém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shen Sang Hao in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Tarrasque Voador F.C. were awarded a corner. Napoleon Furgal went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Napoleon Furgal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teófilo Belém quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the MC ESPANHOL defense, Shen Sang Hao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teófilo Belém. The MC ESPANHOL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teófilo Belém should have stopped the shot. After having played for 11 minutes, Frits Evenhuis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MC ESPANHOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frits Evenhuis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teófilo Belém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shen Sang Hao in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Ribeiro in the 15th minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Xander Goos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xander Goos had great luck who in the 26thth minute grab hold of the ball when Virgílio Serpa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. MC ESPANHOL's Teófilo Belém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianpaolo Lovera in the 27th minute of play. Shen Sang Hao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teófilo Belém read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes MC ESPANHOL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Napoleon Furgal who took care of the corner kick. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Napoleon Furgal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teófilo Belém in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Juvenal Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander Goos having to interfere. Dedê Paraibano hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Severino Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xander Goos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frits Evenhuis in the 39th minute. A collision led to MC ESPANHOL getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. João Gomes hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 50th minute, Máximo Palma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xander Goos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frits Evenhuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Xander Goos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Serpa in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Shen Sang Hao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teófilo Belém was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgílio Serpa in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xander Goos saved Tarrasque Voador F.C. from getting behind. When Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Carlos Leão in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MC ESPANHOL's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Kostas Sourpis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MC ESPANHOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostas Sourpis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Xander Goos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Ribeiro in the 80th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Severino Ribeiro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Xander Goos. Xander Goos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Virgílio Serpa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander Goos having to interfere. If Carlos Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Although MC ESPANHOL had been in control for most of the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C. still came away with the win.
