Carl-Chester Vallgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esat Kemalettin in the 9th minute. Wilhelm Qvarnström hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ben Şah succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 32nd playminute. 36 minutes into the match, IFK Fjärås's Ben Şah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl-Chester Vallgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Fjärås's zone, Torbjörn Grönlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Västerberg came out of the goal and Torbjörn Grönlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olov Johnsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Allan Björk hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes in the game Torbjörn Samuelsson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ben Şah. Torbjörn Samuelsson got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Giuliano de Azevedo. Recep Talha Keskin lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, VBL Stockholm's Torbjörn Grönlund got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kristoffer Västerberg. IFK Fjärås's Esat Kemalettin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valentin Holmstedt, made in the 67th minute of the game. Wilhelm Qvarnström charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilhelm Qvarnström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to VBL Stockholm getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Esat Kemalettin managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Fjärås's supporters rose to their feet, but Esat Kemalettin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl-Chester Vallgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. IFK Fjärås made a substitution. Adrian Käcker replaced Jimmie Ekström. Erik Wennerqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erik Wennerqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Wennerqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl-Chester Vallgren having to interfere. The IFK Fjärås manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing VBL Stockholm to win.
