Rävlunda FF's Marty Perryman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Sasso in the 6th minute of play. FC SOLOTHURN's Josué Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save FC SOLOTHURN from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Alfred Österberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Panait Stolniciu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rävlunda FF's Marty Perryman. Marty Perryman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute Anfilogino Sasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marty Perryman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rickard Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rävlunda FF's Aurelian Biriș suffered a sore thigh after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 32 played minutes FC SOLOTHURN got a freekick which was hit by Armando Rossetti. 33 minutes into the match, FC SOLOTHURN's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Österberg came free, but Josué Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anfilogino Sasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Panait Stolniciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anfilogino Sasso to make the kick off. Marty Perryman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Sasso in the 52nd minute of the match. If Anfilogino Sasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Åke Snell struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Josué Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rävlunda FF. 64 minutes into the match, Rävlunda FF's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Sasso came free, but Marty Perryman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Jonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of FC SOLOTHURN booed when Rävlunda FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilgot Ahlkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rickard Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anfilogino Sasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marty Perryman having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Hagi in the 74th minute of play forced Rävlunda FF's goalkeeper Marty Perryman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Panait Stolniciu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marty Perryman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Hagi in the 77th minute of play forced Rävlunda FF's goalkeeper Marty Perryman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rävlunda FF's zone, Anfilogino Sasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marty Perryman came out of the goal and Anfilogino Sasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rävlunda FF's Marty Perryman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Sasso in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Jens-Åke Snell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josué Macedo. FC SOLOTHURN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Åke Snell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 89 minutes into the match, FC SOLOTHURN's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Eriksson came free, but Josué Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Lennart Wallander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rävlunda FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Anfilogino Sassos short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Marty Perryman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC SOLOTHURN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rävlunda FF.
