Remigio Chico started the match with the kick off. Igor Butenin hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute, Gwidon Ciupierdo fired a really elegant long shot, but Kåre Tolsson threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After 5 minutes of play, GREMIO's Teo Marin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Erik Fransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When GREMIO's Czeslaw Kaszubik in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SE7EN's goalie prevented a goal. When Dmytro Maschenko fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GREMIO's protests and gave Dmytro Maschenko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Dmytro Maschenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind GREMIO's goalkeeper Kåre Tolsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Cazimir Ogășanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kåre Tolsson. GREMIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cazimir Ogășanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. GREMIO's Kåre Tolsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save GREMIO from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Chico in the 20th minute of play forced GREMIO's goalkeeper Kåre Tolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, GREMIO's Czeslaw Kaszubik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Erik Fransson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kåre Tolsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isto Leppiniemi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cazimir Ogășanu in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kåre Tolsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remigio Chico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Kåre Tolsson made a huge save. GREMIO's Kåre Tolsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isto Leppiniemi in the 38th minute of play. SE7EN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gwidon Ciupierdo in the 39th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gwidon Ciupierdo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kåre Tolsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 41 minutes of play, GREMIO's Basilio Ermano made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Erik Fransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47thth minute of the game Cazimir Ogășanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GREMIO's Kåre Tolsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Kåre Tolsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Ogășanu in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, SE7EN's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Kaszubik came free, but Sven-Erik Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Cazimir Ogășanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kåre Tolsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Sven-Erik Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience was convinced that Nereo Errapel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kåre Tolsson was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Czeslaw Kaszubik in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Erik Fransson saved SE7EN from getting behind.
