YR Mechelen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Åke Snell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Andries Van Mechelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Snell in the 25th minute of play. It was Alfred Österberg who took care of the corner kick. 28 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Eriksson came free, but Andries Van Mechelen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marty Perryman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuur Candries, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Rickard Eriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YR Mechelen's Andries Van Mechelen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rävlunda FF's Marty Perryman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuur Candries in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Rickard Eriksson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of YR Mechelen's Andries Van Mechelen. Andries Van Mechelen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 69 minutes, Diederik Van Mechelen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YR Mechelen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diederik Van Mechelen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rävlunda FF made a substitution. Aurelian Biriș replaced Jens-Åke Snell. Aurelian Biriș kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Rickard Eriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Andries Van Mechelen made a huge save. Andries Van Mechelen made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Rickard Eriksson sent off a good shot on target. Rävlunda FF's Lennart Wallander was substituted for Tony Jonsson. After some careless play in the YR Mechelen defense, Rickard Eriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andries Van Mechelen. The YR Mechelen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andries Van Mechelen should have stopped the shot. Rävlunda FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
