Josué Macedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Romelio's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Panait Stolniciu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Danilo Tome made a huge save. Haroldo Romelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Josué Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Sasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Danilo Tome was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The LOS TRES PIERNAS fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when LOS TRES PIERNAS's Haroldo Romelio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Romelio in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josué Macedo saved FC SOLOTHURN from getting behind. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Haroldo Romelio sped through FC SOLOTHURN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Josué Macedo. The supporters of LOS TRES PIERNAS booed when FC SOLOTHURN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corrado Berardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, FC SOLOTHURN's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Romelio came free, but Josué Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haroldo Romelio to make the kick off. When Haroldo Romelio came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the LOS TRES PIERNAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Romelio couldn't finish the play. Saul Paublo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of FC SOLOTHURN booed when LOS TRES PIERNAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Amato didn't get a good kick on the ball. LOS TRES PIERNAS's Danilo Tome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Sasso in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, LOS TRES PIERNAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Amato to maneuver through the defense. Saul Paublo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Anfilogino Sasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Romelio got free with Josué Macedo in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Haroldo Romelio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the LOS TRES PIERNAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Romelio couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Sasso in the 91st minute of play forced LOS TRES PIERNAS's goalkeeper Danilo Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Baldomiro Lobo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS TRES PIERNAS's protests and gave Baldomiro Lobo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Baldomiro Lobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chants of LOS TRES PIERNAS echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC SOLOTHURN had held the ball for most of the match.
