With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgílio Serpa in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andries Van Mechelen saved YR Mechelen from getting behind. If Severino Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgílio Serpa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 37th minute, Virgílio Serpa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MC ESPANHOL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Andries Van Mechelen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0.
