A beautiful save bye LOS TRES PIERNAS's goalie prevented a goal. Danilo Tome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Urtsin in the 11th minute of play. When Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LOS TRES PIERNAS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th minute, Aquiles Urtsin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merengue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Aquiles Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Feliz in the 21st minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Bayan Gugovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Aquiles Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Tome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Aquiles Urtsin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, LOS TRES PIERNAS's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Urtsin came free, but Danilo Tome reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by LOS TRES PIERNAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ediberto Sampaio was slow to take the kick. During this time Merengue FC's players had a chance to rest. Aquiles Urtsin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Tome read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Urtsin in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Tome saved LOS TRES PIERNAS from getting behind. Haroldo Romelio in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bayan Gugovski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aquiles Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Haroldo Romelio made the kick off in the second half. Ediberto Sampaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Tome having to make a save. 51 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's Ediberto Sampaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Tome narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Danilo Tome managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abelardo Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Aquiles Urtsin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Tome read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Haroldo Romelio's late challenge caught a Merengue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Romelio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, LOS TRES PIERNAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Romelio to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Tome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Urtsin in the 56th minute of play. If Haroldo Romelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Merengue FC's Ediberto Sampaio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Danilo Tome made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 76th minute. If Haroldo Romelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Aquiles Urtsin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danilo Tome. Aquiles Urtsin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Aquiles Urtsin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Danilo Tome skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 90th minute, Flavio Alleva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ediberto Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Merengue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ediberto Sampaio couldn't finish the play. The LOS TRES PIERNAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Merengue FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
