Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ben Şah in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andries Van Mechelen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andries Van Mechelen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ben Şah went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 11 minutes of play, IFK Fjärås's Ben Şah made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andries Van Mechelen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the YR Mechelen defense, Ben Şah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andries Van Mechelen. The YR Mechelen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andries Van Mechelen should have stopped the shot. Ben Şah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andries Van Mechelen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Şah in the 20th minute of play forced YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Andries Van Mechelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben Şah in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andries Van Mechelen saved YR Mechelen from getting behind. 26 minutes into the game, IFK Fjärås's Ben Şah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andries Van Mechelen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Andries Van Mechelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Şah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andries Van Mechelen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Şah in the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of YR Mechelen booed when IFK Fjärås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Şah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ben Şah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andries Van Mechelen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, YR Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Van Mechelen to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Paul-Louis Van Mechelen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paul-Louis Van Mechelen to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, IFK Fjärås's Ben Şah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andries Van Mechelen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 64 minutes into the game, Ben Şah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Fjärås's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YR Mechelen the free kick. Ben Şah kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of YR Mechelen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IFK Fjärås:s goal. The goalkeeper, Andries Van Mechelen, was totally fooled by IFK Fjärås's Giuliano de Azevedo, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 72nd minute Ben Şah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andries Van Mechelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul-Louis Van Mechelen kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ben Şah succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 78th playminute. IFK Fjärås's Börge Larsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vincent Van Mechelen in the 82 minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Ben Şah dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andries Van Mechelen, 0-8. In the 85th minute, IFK Fjärås's Ben Şah ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andries Van Mechelen. Andries Van Mechelen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. After 90 minutes, Ben Şah made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. YR Mechelen's Andries Van Mechelen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Andries Van Mechelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Şah, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Joery Van Mechelen in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by IFK Fjärås's Robin Pååk.
