In the 3rd minute Olov Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mait Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olov Johnsson scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mait Pihl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to VBL Stockholm getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Christopher Lundgren hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Andres Oper reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carl-Chester Vallgren. The goal made the score 1-1. With a little luck, VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren got control of the ball when Andres Oper tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carl-Chester Vallgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Oper in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Capua Whitewolves were awarded a corner. Afonso Sampaio went to the cornerflag to take it. Afonso Sampaio made a great header on Capua Whitewolves's corner, it was just that VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren managed to reach the ball for a save. Capua Whitewolves's Mait Pihl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Johnsson in the 28th minute of play. VBL Stockholm's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andres Oper 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Carl-Chester Vallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Oper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Andres Oper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl-Chester Vallgren was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Oper, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute Andres Oper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl-Chester Vallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Andres Oper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl-Chester Vallgren was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Capua Whitewolves's Elari Hirv was substituted for Andres Oper. Mait Pihl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Johnsson in the 75th minute of play. Capua Whitewolves's Gedson Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VBL Stockholm's attentive Sven-Edvin Åström managed to snatch the ball when Eugenio Ingegno made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Capua Whitewolves's Elari Hirv managed to work through VBL Stockholm's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Elari Hirv dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a rather tough play, Capua Whitewolves's Nemir Al Hammady got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Olov Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Mait Pihl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VBL Stockholm.
