The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 16th minute, Hüsmen Akbulut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Hüsmen Akbulut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josué Macedo was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josué Macedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute Anfilogino Sasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Ivens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Wigghers's late challenge caught a FC SOLOTHURN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But to his dismay, Hüsmen Akbulut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. FC SOLOTHURN's Josué Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. 杨坚 in the 54th minute of play. The throw-in from Armando Rossetti in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by B⚽st⚽n Celtics-Palestine's Cavit Kutlan. Jacob Madruga hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match.
