Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aquiles Urtsin kicked off to start the match. Aquiles Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Tolsson having to interfere. Kåre Tolsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ediberto Sampaio went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Teo Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Bayan Gugovski made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Basilio Ermano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bayan Gugovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Ermano in the 21st minute of play. GREMIO's Kåre Tolsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Merengue FC from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute Basilio Ermano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayan Gugovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Urtsin in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kåre Tolsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Merengue FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basilio Ermano was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes GREMIO got a freekick which was hit by Ishaq Bayauw. Benjamim Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, GREMIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Ermano to maneuver through the defense. Ediberto Sampaio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Bayan Gugovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kåre Tolsson stood somewhat misplaced when Ediberto Sampaio came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 73 minute. GREMIO's Kåre Tolsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save GREMIO from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Aquiles Urtsin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Basilio Ermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, GREMIO's goalkeeper Kåre Tolsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ediberto Sampaio. Bayan Gugovski came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by GREMIO's Czeslaw Kaszubik. But to his dismay, Czeslaw Kaszubik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Merengue FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
